We take electronic products from idea to mass production: electronics, mechanics, firmware, and the link from the device to whatever system reads its data. This role is the second half of that.
What good looks like
A device in the field reports its own data, and someone can see what the fleet is doing without having to ask you.
What you do
- Firmware for microcontrollers: drivers, interfaces over UART, SPI and I²C, with real-time behaviour that holds.
- Connectivity: MQTT, HTTP, Modbus, and wireless over Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or LoRa.
- Data pipelines and monitoring, with tools such as Grafana and InfluxDB.
- Sensor databases in MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQLite, and the data flow from device to backend.
- Test and debug on real hardware with JTAG and a logic analyser.
- Work directly with the hardware engineers and with customers on requirements.
What you bring
- A background in computer science, electrical engineering or embedded systems.
- C, C++, C#, Python and SQL.
- RTOS, embedded Linux or database systems from real work.
- An understanding of what happens at the hardware boundary.
- A systematic way of working. Precision matters more than speed here.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
